Pausing is so useful for progressing and being productive. I am going to dive into the benefits of pausing and break down the letters P.A.U.S.E .
P -Pace yourself
A- Assertive and attentive
U- Understand
S- Stillness to listen
E- Educate, enough, empower
Pause – art of holding still while getting things together , gaining clarity, decluttering, letting go of unwanted things internally and externally. When you no longer eant to go with the flow and be more intentional,
But why d people pause when they don’t need to? Fear, worry, lack of progress , lack of patience
What you can do: take a break, stop everything your doing regarding that thing, do other interests to be refreshed , note what needs your attention and what no longer needs your attention and time.
What you can practie- setting a heart goal of being patient, building faith and understanding.
The meaning of pause that we see in the bible is ‘Selah’ also ,

Use Selah to take a pause to think about what the Scripture says – to reflect before moving on.
Does it mean to wait on God? Waiting is part of being patient , supporting bible verses reads – Lamentations 3:25 The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. Micah 7:7 But as for me, I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.
Does it mean to being patient ? Supporting bible verses to build patience in this phrase of pausing – Psalms 37:7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
