Being beautiful is a mindset

Being beautiful in your own skin and design is a mindset. As women, it may seem easy at times to see a flaw in yourself and magnify it. Don’t magnify anything but the Lord Jesus! What is a flaw, a flaw is an imperfection, shortcoming or limitation. The challenge is to avoid picking at oneself, which in turn makes you pick at others and the cycle is endless. You can’t be your own beautiful when your mind and heart is full of seeing blemishes left, right and center.

Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.Colossians 3:2 

Yes, things are not fully perfect today, but today is not your destination, you’re on a journey and so are other people. The bible shares we should love others as we love ourselves. The love of God is in your heart by the holy spirit, let’s not cover it up. God’s love says he sees you beautiful and with no flaw songs of Solomon 4:7. Not to say there isn’t any but he is seeing you=beautiful, not you=flaw.
