Dear Lady,

We talk about ‘purpose’ ALOT in the body of Christ..

I agree that we should know what we are created for But we can only truly know when we are knowing Him… then it will flow so naturally.

We hear a lot of

Walk in your purpose…

Know your purpose…

Ask God for your purpose…

I remember when I came to Christ, I will at times sit and try and write what I thought my purpose was, I would pray and ask, I thought it was one big thing. But when Jesus said ‘follow me’, I knew my purpose had began and till now is still unfolding everyday in the things  I do with Him.

So I say to myself and to you, everyday is a purpose day with Jesus.

Walk in God..

Know your God…

Ask for more of God…

God has been sharing something new to me about purpose, which I would like to share with you and it is taken from the scriptures;

“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”                                                                                                                                1 John 3:2

So my life on earth is about me being HIS image.. my purpose is me being His image, embracing my uniqueness in how I understand and know Him. This and only this is the secret to being yourself in Christ, doing what comes naturally to you while you learn new things that enhances you in Him. Whether it be learning in the faith or getting knowledge in the world to birth out your uniqueness, this is purpose.

He made us a reflection of Him anyway, BUT we are to link up with Him to be able to BE that reflection, because at the end of the day of days He will appear and we must be like Him since we profess Him, Jesus.

There is no point in saying purpose if, at the end we are not like Him. Both in our spirit and the results of our faith, we are created to BE like Him when He comes. 

So my question which I ask myself too, is, Are you walking in purpose in Him to the effect that when he appears, you will be like Him. Or it is a purpose that satisfies the flesh based on what is purchased and not the spirit that is eternal, a part of HIM?
